Explore the Fields

Ten fields.
One intelligence layer.Every week, demand tells us what to build.

Each field is a living body of unmet needs, expert dilemmas, programs, and research — a place where Africa builds the capability to shape its own future.

What is a field?

A field is not a category. It is a living body of knowledge and capability — with its own mission, its own research front, its own programs, and its own community of experts and learners.

Every field has the same four doors so you always know where you are: Why It Matters frames the problem, Expert Contributions gathers dilemmas, Programs teaches capability, and Research classifies what we have learned.

The fields serve four kinds of visitor. If you are curious, start with Why It Matters. If you have expert knowledge to share, use Contributions. If you want to learn, enter Programs. If you are researching or governing, browse Research.

One field at a time. Every week, a new story is filed under a new field. The current one is flagged.

How every field works

The same four doors, in every field.

You always know where you are. You always know where to look. The field pages are built once, then repeated — so adding a new field is a decision, not a redesign.

01
Why It Matters The field's front door — mission, dilemmas, and the case for attention.
02
Expert Contributions Where experts submit articles and videos on the field's hardest problems.
03
Programs Certificates, diplomas, degrees — every level, taught as workshops.
04
Research Themes that classify every article arriving from BSI Weekly.
How this is different.

Expert contributions don't just get archived — they become what the field teaches. Every programme in every field draws from the dilemmas practitioners have submitted. Learning and contribution are the same loop.
