Programs

Smart Agriculture asks how Africa feeds itself on its own terms — using tools it owns, data it generates, and knowledge it already holds.

Every Smart Agriculture programme is taught as a workshop, not a lecture. Problem-driven, practice-based, and designed so that what you build during the programme is what you carry into the field.

Six credential levels, from short certificates to doctoral research. Each one is a distinct commitment, with its own entry requirements and its own output.

The PRA

Professor-Led Research Apprenticeship.

The PRA is how the field grows its own researchers. You work alongside a professor on live research, publish under your own name, and leave with a portfolio rather than a certificate.

Live now

Enrol in the Program.

The PRA PhD Pathway is the first live learning pathway under Smart Agriculture. One professor, one researcher, twelve weeks of direct interrogation. Enrolment for Session 1 is open until 11 October 2026.
