Brick-and-mortar shoppers are particular likely to evaluate the quality of products based product presentation. This includes the way in which products are displayed and arranged . Factors such as wider shelves, store lighting and the overall visual appeal are critical factors in enhancing customer browsing experience and in turn influencing customers perceptions about the quality and value of the products. According to Baker et al. (2002) high quality produces tend to receive premium placement in high traffic areas, with the intention of attracting customers attention, thereby reinforcing a brand’s reputation and its commitment to quality. In the case of Shoprite, fresh produce and other perishable products which require higher levels of quality control are place at the front of the store, where customers enter directly into the fresh area, evoking a sense of arrival into a fresh food market. Product strategic placement in stores, particularity those in high trafficked areas, create a psychological impression in the minds of the customer that these products desirable, enhancing the overall shopping experience. Furthermore, a well-planned store design includes calming zones, which are typically located at the store entrance, where flowers are strategically placed to create a welcoming transition into the shopping environment. These zones not only set a positive tone but also enhance the quality-driven shopping experience by guiding customers through product-specific aisles. This thoughtful layout makes it easy to locate premium products without overwhelming or confusing the shopper. Inman et al.
